Arborview Promotes Carolyn Farley to Partner

Today we are excited to share that Carolyn Farley has been promoted to Partner at Arborview Capital. 

We founded Arborview Capital thirteen years ago with the belief that our future could be more resource efficient and environmentally sound. Since then, we have partnered with talented management teams to build a legacy of strong returns to all stakeholders — investors, employees, customers, suppliers — and the environment.

Carolyn shares our vision for a more sustainable economy and our belief in the stakeholder capitalism model while adding a differentiated perspective and significant leadership capacity. Her twelve years of experience evaluating and investing in businesses across a wide range of impact themes enables her to identify value in new markets. Having been an operator and partnered with nontraditional entrepreneurs across the globe, she is adept at fostering empathy and trust with management teams.

Since her arrival in early 2020, Carolyn has co-led three new investments for the firm, joined the Board of Directors of Copper Cow Coffee, and taken two Board Observer roles. She is also committed to building a more comprehensive and actionable impact roadmap for Arborview. Over the past year, Carolyn spearheaded a redesign of our impact measurement and management processes. We published the initial results of this work in partnership with our portfolio companies in our 2020 Impact Report. 

Carolyn’s unique blend of experiences, natural talent for building deep relationships with founders, and devotion to creating measurable impact at the firm and with our portfolio companies, gives us tremendous confidence in her future as a leader in the impact investing community.
