Lighting Retrofit, Inc. (LRI) Announces the Addition of Water Savers, LLC to Bolster the Company’s Position as a Leader in Energy & Water Savings Solutions

LRI announces today that it has created a new sister company that will be known as “Water Savers, LLC” which will allow LRI to provide expanded lighting and water efficiency services solutions to their existing national customers.

The combined group has in excess of 35 million dollars in bonding capacity. Through this partnership clients will realize process improvement and cost savings. A single source provider with unified resources to design, develop and construct both water and lighting solutions. We will provide a simplified customer formatted project submittal and other efficiencies as a result of shared project management, warehousing, disposal and administration.

Water Savers will be led by two industry veterans along with the support of project developers, project managers, administrative staff and the existing infrastructure provided by LRI.

Francis Wheeler will serve as the President of Water Savers, LLC. Mr. Wheeler is an established industry expert who has worked in executive leadership positions for multiple water conservation companies as well as a fortune 50 Energy Services Company (ESCo). Mr. Wheeler attended the Marine Corps University during his 12 year military career as well as the University of Maryland.

Paul Bassett, LEED AP, CID, CIC, CLIA will serve as Vice President of Sustainability and Project Development of Water Savers, LLC. Mr. Bassett is a certified irrigation designer (CID) and has comprehensive knowledge of the design and engineering of rainwater and condensation recovery systems. He is also recognized by the United States Green Building Councils, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and has been involved with over 55 registered or certified projects. Mr. Bassett lives in Maryland and works at the Enviro-Center in Jessup, MD (www.enviro-center.com).
